Kaleidoscope Dream releases single "Six Days From Sunday"

Coming off his debut EP "Arrive", Kaleidoscope Dream releases the first of a series of songs that will be part of a yet to be name compilation. Utilizing songwriting and production techniques different from those on "Arrive" the series is something you'll be wanting to keep your eyes and ears on. Ditching the rigidity of computer programmed drums, he once again finds himself behind the drum throne, laying down live drum takes to give the songs a more human experience.

From the artist: "While I really enjoyed making "Arrive", I wanted to do something a little different. I didn't necessarily want to create another Arrive and would be happy producing something that sounded totally different. I think "Six Days From Sunday" is a step towards a different sound for me. I have a handful of songs I've been toying with and they are also developing into something quite special. I think this is only the beginning of possibly maybe defining what my sound is, even though I hate putting myself into a box.

Kaleidoscope Dream releases debut EP, aptly named “Arrive”

Kaleidoscope Dream is set to release his debut EP “Arrive” on February 4th, 2020. A first for the artist who has spent years as a contributing member to other musical endeavors. The EP will be available on all major streaming platforms.

Kaleidoscope Dream spent years playing drums for various musical projects including being the former drummer for the band “Bag of Toys” an acoustic surf rock band out of San Francisco, the musician felt a need to return to his roots as a guitar player and songwriter. “Arrive” is a group of songs that are guitar riff based, but also have heavy keyboard-oriented elements that create a musical atmosphere around them. This combination reveals influences of rock, indie, pop and a touch psychedelic flavor.

From the artist: “These songs are very special to me…the inspiration for many of them come from people very close to me that had some very unfortunate times in their lives. I wrote them hoping they could find resolution and reasons to look at their lives in a new way.  I think we all have had obstacles in our lives and often we let these things get in the way from enjoying life the way we should. Even though the songs were written about a certain person or persons experiences, the stories are unfortunately universal. I hope that many others can take something from them in a positive way.”
